Chelsea are confident of landing Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho ahead of other clubs for a club record transfer fee, according to Goal.
Sancho is a sought after talent and has reportedly grown unsettled in Germany.
Reports over the last few weeks, including this one from The Telegraph, suggests that both parties are prepared to part ways.
They also claim that Dortmund are determined to keep hold of Sancho until the summer and would be against doing a deal in January.
This may or may not suit Chelsea, who are still waiting to find out if they can sign players in January or not, with their appeal being heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport last month.
It could see them attempting to arrange a Christian Pulisic type transfer, where they agree the deal, but the player does not join until the end of the season.
However, a January deal seems unlikely off the back of this news.
