Chelsea need to fear double threat Aston Villa in “get-right game”

Chelsea play Aston Villa tomorrow night, and we’re very, very worried.

It’s not often you’ll hear us say that when we’re up against a newly promoted side. But this Villa team are no ordinary promoted side. They’re the strongest and most well organised promoted side since… well since Sheffield United, who also came up this year.

But they aren’t just graft and great coaching. They also have a lot of imported foreign talent to go with it, a true double threat. In fact, we haven’t seen a promoted team with so much imported foreign talent since… well Wolves last year.

But apart from Sheffield United and Wolves last year, this is the most dangerous promoted team in a while, and given we’ve lost two games in a row, we’re concerned about how Frank Lampard’s team will get on.

Having Tammy Abraham back against his old team will be vital, and we’re praying he’s fit. Without him, things could get ugly. Another poor showing at home is not what the fans are craving, with Tottenham closing in.
