Chelsea were victorious last night in their Premier League face off against Aston Villa.
This Villa side were different from ever before, they possessed one of Chelsea’s best ever players and easily their greatest ever captain John Terry within their coaching ranks.
The Chelsea legend is now the Assistant Manager at Villa and the evening was centred around his return home to Stamford Bridge.
It was an emotional affair for Chelsea fans who paid tribute to Terry before the match signing his name, and floating the traditional ‘captain, leader, legend’ banner around.
Chelsea's greatest ever captain…

Chelsea fans treat their legends right, and Terry was very humbled after the match when speaking to Chelsea TV.

It was just incredible to see him referring to Chelsea as ‘we’ whilst stood their in his Aston Villa gear.
There isn’t another person on this earth who loves this club more than Terry, and Chelsea’s current Assistant Manager Jody Morris was quick to pay tribute to him today in a heartfelt tweet and image from his Instagram.
Great to see our greatest ever captain and most certainly in the top two greatest ever players for @chelseafc
