Why it would be wise for Chelsea to accept Dortmund interest in veteran striker

Borussia Dortmund have ‘joined the chase’ to sign Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud in January, according to The Daily Mirror.

The French World Cup winner is growing frustrated at his lack of game time at Chelsea and knows he must pursue a new club in January if he is to keep his regular starting place for his national team, and head to the Euros this summer.

Inter Milan are showing a keen interest in him, as reported by the same publication, and Chelsea will let him leave for £5 million in the winter window.

If the Dortmund interest is legit, it would be very wise for Chelsea to successfully deal with Dortmund once again, after signing Christian Pulisic from them recently.

The two clubs already seem to have good transfer relations, and Chelsea may wish to use that to their advantage very soon once again.

The Blues are interested in signing Jadon Sancho from the German side, as reported by reliable Telegraph journalist Matt Law.

So if Dortmund want Giroud, we GIVE them Giroud, ASAP!
