Frank Lampard oversaw another impressive win as Chelsea manager today, after a slow first half gave way to a much brighter second period.
It wasn’t the best game the team have played, but as Frank said in the interview afterwards, the team did the job. Owen Hargreaves on the BT punditry team asked about the goals they have been conceding this season, and the Chelsea boss admitted it was a concern, but also said “I think we’re getting better at that.” As he pointed out, the clean sheet today helps that majorly, and it’s true that thanks to Reece James’ efforts at right back keeping Wilf Zaha under control, we looked pretty solid.
