It’s the international break, meaning a chance for English journalists to get a crack at some of the former Premier League stars now playing abroad.
The biggest name to leave the Premier League this summer was Eden Hazard, and Sky caught up with him on Belgium duty to get his takes on his old team, who are flying high in the league.
According to Hazard, losing him hasn’t hurt their attack flair at all –
“When I watch Chelsea, yeah no Hazard but it’s a party,” the winger said.
“They can score lots of goals, fans are happy. Now, they just need to stay there, win games. That’s it. They’re third in the league, so it’s going to be a great season,” the former Blue said.
Let’s hope he’s right about that last part! A lot of this season will come down to how we get on against Man City next weekend, and Hazard is predicting a good result for us there too.
