Tammy Abraham “hopefully” fit for Aston Villa says striker

Chelsea have just lost 1-0 to West Ham at home, in what was perhaps our worst performance of the season.

Frank Lampard’s team were sloppy in defence, flaccid in midfield and totally invisible up front. Without the height, presence and danger caused by Tammy Abraham, we looked like a blunt team with little chance of creating chances, let alone scoring them.

The good news, and we’re happy there is some to bring you from this dire game, is that Tammy spoke to Simon Johnson of the Athletic after the game and revealed that he will “hopefully” be fit for our game against Aston Villa this week.

You can see Johnson’s Tweet here:

That’s a start, at least. After a game like that, we need every little boost we can get, and this definitely counts for something. Having him back leading the line will add a whole lot of confidence to our team – and hopefully some goals too.
