Slight rotation in some areas – Predicted Chelsea Xl vs Ajax

Chelsea are gearing up to face Dutch side Ajax at Stamford Bridge tonight in their Group H Champions League clash.

The two are joint top of the group currently with 6 points each, after The Blues beat their visitors 1-0 in their own backyard just two weeks prior.

But they go again this evening and expect nothing but a very difficult match against a very good team.

Both teams are young, vibrant and quick, so for the neutrals it is expected to be another emphatic watch.

Frank Lampard has N’Golo Kante back in the squad, but I believe he will only be used if necessary, or if we have a healthy lead and can rest Jorginho or Mateo Kovacic.

Andreas Christensen and Ross Barkley are both available for selection again, but I don’t think we will see either tonight, with Lampard knowing the importance of getting the win at home.

I think there is a chance to rest Cesar Azpilicueta, and we might also see a start for Callum Hudson-Odoi, but I’m not sure whether that will be for Willian or Christian Pulisic.

Predicted Chelsea Xl vs Ajax – (4-3-3) –

Kepa, James, Zouma, Tomori, Emerson. Jorginho, Kovacic, Mount. Hudson-Odoi, Pulisic, Abraham.
