Tammy Abraham was not having the best of games today against Crystal Palace, but not long after half time he was on the scoresheet.
The forward is proving to be really clinical in the box this season, but also totally able to shake off bad moments and find the net when he’s given the chance.
Today was a great example, and when he was played in by Willian’s clever flick he suddenly went ice cold. The keeper never had a chance.
It’s his 10th of the season, taking him level with Marcus Rashford’s best ever season total, as Squawka pointed out on Twitter.
We don’t know how many our new number 9 will end up with this season, but it’s going to be an impressive total.
Tammy Abraham has now equalled Marcus Rashford’s personal best for most goals in a single Premier League season.

Inevitably that sparked a massive debate in the comments about who is better, and we could be here all week discussing that.
Regardless of who is “better”, Tammy is just infinitely more clinical, as the stats prove. In games like today’s when he and the team aren’t at their best, that’s a vital quality to have.
