N’Golo Kante has responded to yesterday’s crazy rumours about a threat to on his agent’s life over the player’s future, denying all of the allegations made by Mediapart.
In the UK, the Guardian picked up on the midfielder’s denial, in a subsequent interview, gives the full murky details of the incident.
N’Golo Kante’s transfer to Chelsea, with its associated inflated agent fees, seem to be the centre of the story, but whatever happens, Kante is staying out of it, and saying he is “responsible,” and “makes [his] choices freely and in conscience.”
It’s all rather odd, but you wouldn’t have known there was anything odd going on behind the scenes from his performances on the pitch. Ice cool as ever, you feel in any dangerous situation he’d be someone you could rely on.
As the Guardian piece points out, the next greedy slice of cash for his agent came when he renewed his deal in November 2018, was shared between the two parties involved.
I guess they just worked it out peacefully after all then!
