Chelsea face Man City at the Etihad in just under an hour, and the teams are in!
There were a few injury questions for Frank Lampard, but largely he has picked the team as expected. Christian Pulisic is fit to start the game on the left wing, and N’Golo Kante plays in midfield. That means the odd one out is Mason Mount, who drops to the bench.
It’s a big move from Frank, but we can see his logic in this fixture. Mount can come on later and make a difference, and this makes us that bit more solid in the midfield. Cesar Azpilicueta also returns to bring some solid experience at the back.
This game won’t be easy by any stretch of the imagination, but having lost 6-0 in the equivalent game last year, it can’t really get any worse. This City team is fragile – let’s get stuck in!
