In form Chelsea winger ‘has 25% chance’ of facing Man City on Saturday

The international break is over this weekend and it looks as though Chelsea have come through it relatively unscathed in terms of injuries.

This is a pleasant surprise for Frank Lampard and Chelsea supporters alike, who have grown used to experiencing a number of injury doubts to key players off the back of an international break.

There is still one concern facing Lampard right now though, and that is the fitness of in form winger Christian Pulisic.

His injury was not sustained on international duty, but it did actually keep him from joining up with the USA squad.

Pulisic suffered with a hip injury and United States Manager Gregg Berhalter confirmed he was out for their matches, as reported by Football London.

He described the decision as being ‘collaborative’ with the club looking after the best interest of the player.

They also cite with PremierInjuries in claiming that the American’s chance of being fit for the match against Manchester City is 25%.

That doesn’t look too promising…
