Fenerbahce could cancel Victor Moses loan and leave Chelsea in a tricky spot

Fenerbahce are threatening to end Victor Moses’ loan deal in January, as it slumps to a disappointing conclusion.

He was sent there in January with the intention of staying 18 months, but things haven’t worked out for him this season after an injury hit start. He’s played just 4 games this season, despite a promising initial period last season on loan.

The Sun report on an apparent unhappiness in Turkey about his form, and a willingness to cut short his loan deal in January.

His Chelsea contract runs until the of of 2021, and while we’re sure they’d happily sell him pretty sharpish, it may not be that easy. His bad form and big wages will make finding a permanent destination tricky, and this failed loan isn’t going to encourage many bidders.

Still, there’s plenty of evidence of him playing at a very high level for us – hopefully someone is willing to risk a roll of the dice on that Moses returning.
