Fabrizio Romano hints at new contract for young goal machine

Chelsea have a few players in form right now, and none more so than Tammy Abraham, who is up to 10 league goals already this season.

The club has tied a lot of its youngsters down to new deals in the last 6 months, including the long awaited Callum Hudson-Odoi. Tammy isn’t one of them, but he could soon be, according to a fairly (but not very) cryptic Tweet from well known Italian transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.

You can see Romano’s Tweet here:

There’s no real idea of when it will be done, and it’s actually been dragging on for some time. Romano has hinted before that a deal could be on the way, so evidently there are a few snags.

As far as we can tell, there’s no reason to doubt that we will lock him down soon. It’s all going swimmingly for player and club right now, and getting our new number 9 locked down long term is the logical next step.
