Chelsea Twitter point out incredible Frank Lampard world record

It’s the international break, and there’s not much going on, so Chelsea’s social media account are always looking for something fun to put up to pass the time.

As today is apparently “GWRday”, – that’s Guinness World Records day if you didn’t already know – they decided to remind fans of one held by a player from the club.

Frank Lampard scored against 39 Premier League teams over his long career, more than any other player in the history of the division. How many can you name?

His final rundown included 39 of the 46 teams that have ever played in the division, including, famously, Chelsea.

Arsenal, Aston Villa, Barnsley, Birmingham City, Blackburn Rovers, Blackpool, Bolton, Bradford, Charlton, Chelsea, Coventry City, Crystal Palace, Derby County, Everton, Fulham, Hull City, Leeds United, Leicester City, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Middlesbrough. Newcastle United, Norwich City, Nottingham Forest, Portsmouth, Reading, Sheffield United, Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton, Stoke City, Sunderland, Swansea City, Tottenham, West Brom, West Ham, Wigan, Wimbledon, Wolves.
