Some Chelsea fans believe you would be foolish to not want England man after 3 assist performance

Leicester City left back Ben Chilwell notched up three assists for England last night in their 7-0 thrashing over Montenegro.

The 22-year old is heavily linked with a move to Chelsea, with the Blues boss Frank Lampard reportedly being an admirer of his, as reported recently by reliable Telegraph journalist Matt Law.

The Blues are banned from signing players but are due to have their case heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport on November the 20th.

If the appeal is successful, Chelsea could be able to sign new players as early as January, and Chilwell is one of those who is on their shortlist.

Marcos Alonso’s Chelsea future is up in the air, with the Spaniard likely to become unhappy as a backup to Emerson and could ask to leave the club as a result.

Many Chelsea fans are excited for the Chilwell to Chelsea links and certainly enjoyed watching his great performance in an England shirt last night.
