Yesterday it was reported via The Independent that Borussia Dortmund are prepared to listen to offers for their English winger Jadon Sancho in January, as a result of him becoming unhappy and wanting to leave the club.
They believe that the 19-year old have a host of big clubs interested in signing him in January, including Real Madrid and Manchester United.
One club they didn’t mention is Chelsea, but The Blues have been mentioned with a potential move for him within recent weeks, mainly via The Telegraph reporter Matt Law.
Of course, nobody even knows whether Chelsea can sign players in January yet or not, and we are not expected to know that outcome until the middle of December.
However, Chelsea are said to ‘be aware’ of the situation unfolding between Sancho and Dortmund, in the latest report written by Law for The Telegraph.
Sancho won’t be cheap. But Chelsea certainly aren’t short of funds and ambition right now.
