Yesterday saw the start of a dramatic but very quick turn of events within English football.
Chelsea’s London rivals Tottenham sacked their Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino and his staffing team rather late last night.

Almost immediately it was reported by most of the main outlets that Jose Mourinho was in talks to replace him at the club as Head Coach.

And now, early this morning, Spurs have officially confirmed that the man who was affectionately knows as ‘The Special One’ just down the road at Chelsea, has now been appointed the new Head Coach of Tottenham.

It’s really quite an incredible move.
When Mourinho joined Manchester United it was considered a risk to his Chelsea legacy. But joining their close London rivals will certainly tarnish it now.
Chelsea fans will remember him fondly for what he helped achieve at the club during the golden era, but any affection they had left will surely disappear now he is officially a Spurs man.
