Callum Hudson Odoi was on England U21 duty tonight, and he’s made a brilliant return to action.
The winger has actually never scored for the U2s before, but now he’s off the mark twice.
The first saw him link up smartly with the rest of his team, before finishing the move with a powerful drive into the roof of the net.
The second was even better, bent from well outside the box. We all knew he could dribble, but if you’d forgotten, he can shoot too.
This will really be getting Frank Lampard’s attention. He was ready to give the young winger a start last time out, and he’ll be ready to so again if he keeps producing like this. It’s some more valuable game time in his legs too as he looks to get back to 100% sharpness.
