The focus was on England tonight, with Mason Mount making his debut and Tammy Abraham coming on later. But France were in action too, and Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud made an impact, scoring a penalty that gave Les Blues the win.
He’s struggling to get into the Chelsea team at the moment, but this is clearly a confidence boost for him. With so many games yet to play this season, we know Giroud still has a role to play. The more he scores the better. Allez les Bleus!
