Report: Former Chelsea manager ‘monitoring Tottenham’s situation’

Jose Mourinho is monitoring the current situation at Tottenham in the view of putting himself forward for the managerial role should it come up, according to The Daily Mail.

Spurs current manager Mauricio Pochettino is under pressure following a rough spell where they conceded 10 goals in two matches, and his players look to have lost morale entirely.

The rumours continue to circulate that Pochettino could leave Spurs, leaving a managerial position available.

One high profile boss who has been out of a job for sometime but is now looking for the right project to take in order to get back into the management game is Mourinho.

The former Blues boss is eyeing the potential role if it comes up, says The Daily Mail, who claim that Spurs, along with Real Madrid, are one of the clubs who have taken his fancy.

Surely not? Going to Manchester United was bad enough, but surely Mourinho won’t go and manage Spurs? Nothing would surprise me with him!
