Fikayo Tomori was the Chelsea player chosen to represent the Blues in the press conference today ahead of our crucial Champions League fixture with Ajax tomorrow.
The centre back was asked about the impact some of the senior players had made on him as a youngster in the team, and the player he brought up is one of the most experienced. As Tomori put it, “he has played at the highest level.”

It sounds like the positive atmosphere being brought to the club by the wealth of young players coming into the team is really being helped by the positive response from the senior pros.
Olivier Giroud, sitting on the bench but helping out Tammy Abraham is a great example, and so it seems Willian is doing his bit too.
Long may it continue. Dressing room harmony is going to be vital to keep up this early success for the long term.
