Jorginho’s agent has been speaking about the midfielder’s future, and he hinted that a return to Italy could be on the cards.
In quotes carried by the Metro, Joao Santo had a very positive appraisal of the former Napoli man’s season, and the development of his game under Maurizio Sarri and Frank Lampard.
Asked about his future, he confirmed “anything is possible” when it comes to returning to the country where he stars for the national team and where he made his name as a player.
“He will always feel the desire to come back home.”
This is just classic agent speak, keeping the door open to anything just in case. That is kind of his job. Certainly he’s not pushing for anything, and why would he be? His client is playing well for one of the biggest clubs in the richest league in the world.
From Santos’ perspective, he should be doing everything he can to keep this gravy train rolling.
