Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount scored his fourth goal for Chelsea so far this season in a 4-1 thrashing of Southampton at St Marys yesterday in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
The 19-year old is literally living his dream right now turning out regularly for the team he has been at since the age of 7.
He continues to repay the faith shown in him by manager Frank Lampard and he continues to show his deadly eye for goal.
Their will be a lot of young Chelsea supporters looking up to Mount right now as the new generation of hopefuls start making their own dreams.
One young fan from Burton upon Trent certainly enjoyed Mount’s goal yesterday. His Dad James Lineham paused the TV just as his little lad was copying Mount’s goal celebration and tweeted it in reply to the Chelsea Twitter account.
Mason Mount himself caught hold of the image and quoted it on his own page saying “This is what we play for”. What a moment for the kid.
This is what we play for! Inspire the next generation, love this 💙🙌🏼 https://t.co/fwWnjZPSd7
