Callum Hudson-Odoi returned to action with a bang today against Newcastle, and in fact he’s been firing ever since he recovered from the injury that ruled him out all summer.

That’s right, in EVERY game he’s featured in for Chelsea since his injury, he’s either grabbed a goal or an assist.
In fact, he also got two goals and an assist for England U21s this midweek, and that isn’t listed.
It’s truly rare to see someone return from a long term injury and instantly find themselves in this form. He looks like he was never away – in fact he looks better than ever before.
We were always confident a young player like him would be able to shake off the problem, but this just goes to show that even bad Achilles injuries don’t have to ruin careers anymore. Take heart Ruben!
