Hudson-Odoi and Jorginho shine – Key Chelsea stats vs Southampton

Chelsea comfortably thrashed Southampton 4-1 in their own backyard on Sunday and the Chelsea fan base are buzzing.

It’s a real shame that the international break has interrupted momentum for the Blues who have now won 4 matches in a row.

But their are some great statistics off the the back of Sunday, here are some key ones as provided by the Chelsea website.

Chelsea had 13 attempts at goal getting 7 on target. They edged possession with 56%.

Tammy Abraham grabbed his 9th goal of the season in all competitions and is joint top scorer in the Premier League. He had 3 shots yesterday, all on target.

Jorginho spent the most time on the ball out of any player, taking 83 touches. He also completed the most passes with 61 and had the best accuracy rate with 87%. Callum Hudson-Odoi was next best with 83%.

Hudson-Odoi also made the joint most key passes (3) with Willian. Hudson-Odoi was also Chelsea’s best dribbler completing two successful take-ons.

Just like Jorginho being the best passer, it’s not shock to see that N’Golo Kante made the most interceptions with 5, Jorginho actually made 3 as well though.
