Every single Chelsea fan has been impressed with the form of Jorginho and Mason Mount in recent weeks, and the latter has been talking about the former in glowing terms.
Mount has been finding the net regularly, but it was hearing him talk about Jorginho’s personality that really struck a chord.
The Daily Express had the interesting quotes from the midfielder on the Italy who has been influential for him:
“When you’re coming into a team and playing with someone like Jorginho, how much of a character he is and how big he is within the team, he’s had a massive effect on me,” Mount said.
“He’s a massive player for us and you learn so much off a player with that experience of playing at a very, very high level,” the young England star continued.
Jorginho’s leadership is evident on the field, and his form with the ball has been good too. There’s certainly a lot more Mason can learn from Jorginho – and maybe a few little tips that Mason can pass on too, when it comes to finding the back of the net from open play…
