Gareth Southgate will ignore one of his most in-form options tonight

England play again this evening in the Euro 2020 qualifiers as they face a must win match against Bulgaria.

The three lions top the group but need to get the 3 points against bottom of the table Bulgaria so they can keep the chasing pack at arms length.

They have looked poor at the back recently and Southgate is set to change up his personnel there. According to The Telegraph, Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings will start alongside Harry Maguire in a back four tonight.

This will mean he will ignore using Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori, who is one of the most in form defenders in the league at the moment.

You can argue that he lacks experience at this level, but so does Mings.

Tomori offers everything Southgate needs. Good on the ball, calm, strong, and absolutely rapid. He will bring the power, pace and stability needed to Southgate’s back line and would brush off any pressure.
