Chelsea winger Willian is finally enjoying some plaudits from the majority of the Chelsea fan base after another great performance for them yesterday.
The Blues beat Southampton 4-1 away from home and Willian once again turned up and was one of the best players on the pitch.
Not only is he working very hard, he is showing up in the attacking end with goals and assists as well, something he has been heavily criticised for in the past. He also seems to be showing some consistency in his good performances, something else Chelsea fans have been frustrated with in the past.
It’s great to see it really from a player who has often been a scapegoat at the club when they play poorly, and he has disgustingly been abused by a small section of the fan base.
Under Lampard so far he looks like a new player, and Chelsea fans are recognising this and giving him some deserved plaudits on his Twitter post yesterday after the game. A far cry from the usual nonsense he has to put up with.
