It’s great news if you’re English and bad news if you’re Nigerian – according to Sky Sports reporter Rob Dorsett, England manager Gareth Southgate is set to pick Tammy Abraham, eligible for both countries, in the squad for the upcoming international break, announced today at 4pm.
Should Abraham make it onto the pitch for England, that will lock him in as a Three Lions player for life.
Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori's fine starts to the season with @ChelseaFC will see them called up to Gareth Southgate's @England squad, when it's announced later this afternoon, Sky Sports News understands.

Rather confusingly, Dorsett reports that four Chelsea players will be in Southgate’s squad. He mentions Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Ross Barkley among “4 #cfc players expected to be in Southgate’s England squad”, but then says it was a separate source that told him that Fikayo Tomori is “expected” to be called up too.
Presumably he is the fourth of the four in that case… it seems odd to point out that it was a different source who told him that. You can see the original Tweet embedded here:
4 #cfc players expected to be in Southgate’s #england squad, announced this pm. Tammy Abraham will be in, alongside Mount and Barkley. And separately – one source has told me Fikayo Tomori is expected to win his first senior call up too. See #ssn and sky https://t.co/8Z2HF1YWzR

It is pretty significant if Tomori is involved, as he too is eligible for Nigeria. It would mean another talent locked in for life by the smart Southgate regime.
In any case, we will find out at 4pm, when the announcement is allowed
