The Blues are after 15 year old Northern Irish attacking midfield sensation, and have apparently asked his club Linfield whether they can take him on a trial.
As he has not yet turned 16 and signed professional terms, we should be able to hoover him up for free, or with some compensation. Of course it’s important that his current team are properly paid up for the developing they’ve done of his talent
We can’t claim to watch too much Northern Irish U15s football, but we trust our scouts. They brought in Billy Gilmour at a similar age, and we’ve no doubts in their ability to pick up the best talents on the market.
Our academy is working wonders right now, but you still need to get the best players in there, and you can’t stand still for risk of being left behind.
