Chelsea scout Piet de Visser and personal adviser to club owner Roman Abramovich has been speaking to Dutch media recently, and there has been many interesting quotes circulating around as a result.
He has been revealing some inside information regarding his times at Chelsea, and who he believes they should sign.
One player is former Blue Nathan Ake, of whom de Visser describes him as being ‘so good’.
Ake left Chelsea to join Bournemouth in 2017 but since then there has been a lot of talk of Chelsea signing the 24-year old back using a rumoured clause in his contract.
He has been a regular feature in the heart of the Bournemouth defence but is often questioned due to his lack of height for a defender.
There is no doubting his clear talent though, and he is someone that Frank Lampard knows very well.
As reported by The Independent, de Visser has been speaking to de Volkskrant about the subject.
He said:
“Ake should have played for Chelsea by now. He’s so good.
“How often does he not score with his head? He has timing and insight. I hope they buy him back.
“That boy is perfect for them and he has played with Lampard.”
