Christian Pulisic is struggling for minutes at Chelsea at the moment, but he got on the pitch against Southampton at the weekend and made a positive contribution.
As always, you can count on Americans to come up with a positive spin on things, and the US version of the official Chelsea Twitter account dug up this interesting view on things after Pulisic assisted Michy Batshuayi for Chelsea’s final goal at St Mary’s.
It was a great contribution from the sub, exchanging clever passes with the Belgian striker who slotted through Angus Gunn’s legs.

That’s actually very good going from CP, who is clearly making the most of increasingly limited time on the field. Of course some of them were against Grimsby – but they all count.
Let’s hope that he continues to produce at this rate as he gradually gets more time in the team – he will be among the Premier League’s best creative players if he does.
