Wolves v Chelsea lineups: Frank Lampard switches to three-at-the-back

Chelsea and Wolverhampton Wanderers have confirmed their starting elevens for today’s Premier League clash at the Molineux Stadium.

Frank Lampard is in desperate need of a win, with Chelsea at risk of falling further behind the top four if all three points are not secured this afternoon.

Chelsea are only two points adrift of fourth-place Crystal Palace, but we all know how quickly the deficit can grow in this league.

The Blues lost this fixture last season under Maurizio Sarri. The concerning part about that is that Wolves have made forward strides, while we’ve done the opposite.

Let’s not write us off, though, especially considering the form that Tammy Abraham is in heading into this fixture. Four goals in his last two games, he starts upfront.

Marcos Alonso replaces Emerson Palmieri at the back, but Lampard alters his formation to a three-at-the-back for the first time this season, with Christian Pulisic missing out.

Here’s how the rest of the team shapes up for this one, with N’Golo Kante too missing out through injury once again. What do you think, Blues? Can this team get the job done?
