Jurgen Klopp has been speaking about one of Chelsea’s players ahead of the clash between the two clubs on Sunday, and its one he knows well.
Christian Pulisic was still making his first steps in football when Klopp was Dortmund manager, but the now Liverpool boss would have been paying close attention to the winger as he rose through the German team’s youth ranks.
It was long rumoured that the American would be joining Liverpool, given the position of Klopp and the German owners. But it didn’t happen, and in January we swooped in to secure his arrival for this summer.

Of course he’s always very positive, and he’s hardly going to insult our new signing. The question is whether Frank Lampard trusts the 21 year old enough to start him in a game of this magnitude.
