Tammy Abraham’s hat-trick vs. Wolves will have put a smile on the face of Gareth Southgate, who hasn’t seen someone his age net a Premier League treble for four years.
Abraham is on fire, having now scored seven goals in his last three Premier League appearances. An England call-up is only a matter of time if he is able to sustain this incredible run of form.
Southgate, has plenty of firepower to choose from in attack, but he ought to find room for Abraham, who is the youngest English player to score a Premier League hat-trick since 2015.
As MOTD’s official account revealed on Twitter…
Tammy Abraham (21y 347d) is the youngest ever Chelsea player to score a Premier League hat-trick. He's the youngest Englishman to do score one since Raheem Sterling (v Bournemouth) in October 2015.

It’s not often we see English players in his age group performing at this level, so with Harry Kane struggling for consistency, Southgate really ought to be giving Tammy a call.
He lives to score goals, which is exactly the kind of striker that England need. He’s also equally mobile as Raheem Sterling and Jadon Sancho – which would be a deadly combination!
