Chelsea were beaten 1-0 by Valencia on Tuesday night, and since then the focus in the media has all been on the penalty controversy that surfaced at the end of the game.
Ross Barkley appeared to claim the kick off his teammates and then miss it, but Frank Lampard went on to explain later that the midfielder was the assigned taker.
That should be the end of the story, but of course in places like TalkSport they took this chance to lay into the midfielder for his actions to chalk up some hits.
Luckily we play Liverpool on Sunday, so we can all soon forget this nonsense.
