We aren’t too hopeful, but Tammy has given us some belief that Mason Mount can be fit for this Sunday’s game against Liverpool.
Speaking to the media after the game, Tammy made it clear that he’d spoken to his mate afterwards, and that he knew the midfielder is a “strong lad.” Tammy noted that he’s played with Mason through lots of age groups, and he was sure the 21 year old would be battling to be fit.
We’re sure he will be – he even tried to stay on the pitch last night. Whether the medical staff will let him is another matter!
