David Luiz left Chelsea on deadline day in what was a truly shocking deal considering the transfer ban we have in place.
Many questioned the move at the time, and it’s not just been the form of his pseudo-replacement Fikayo Tomori. As good as the youngster has been, Luiz has been just as bad, making the deal look great from both ends for us.
The now Arsenal defender has given away two penalties in his 3 starts for his new club. On ESPN TV they were loving the banter of the transfer. One cheeky commenter even suggested that the Gunners might want some legal payback for the deal. If they could sue us, we’re sure they would, but sadly transfer don’t work that way.
