Massive boost for Chelsea as key player set for injury return this week

Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to return to the field this Friday for the Chelsea under 23 team, according to Goal.

The 18-year old has been out of action since April after rupturing his Achilles tendon but has been back training for the last few weeks.

Just as Chelsea have done with Antonio Rudiger upon his return from injury, Hudson-Odoi is expected to play for the under 23s a couple of times before being reintroduced to first team duties.

Chelsea fans will be eager to see one of their key attacking players out on the field again and all eyes will be on him this Friday.

The Blues under 23s take on Brighton in the Premier League Two at Stamford Bridge and Hudson-Odoi could get some much needed game time.

Chelsea will make sure that he is back to full fitness before bringing him back into the first team squad, eager to avoid any further injuries.
