Former Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole has been waxing lyrical about Tammy Abraham, revealing that he never once doubted the youngster’s ability.
Abraham is currently the joint top goal scorer in the Premier League, having netted an astonishing seven goals in his last three appearances in the English top flight.
He had his doubters, but Abraham is now proving them wrong and repaying the faith shown by those who’s belief never wavered. Joe Cole claims to be one of those.
Speaking live on BT Sport, for whom Cole now provides punditry for post-retirement, the former England international sang Tammy’s praises…

It is a similar case with many of our other younger players. Those who have had the pleasure of seeing them in the flesh all have full belief in their capabilities.
This is just the beginning for Abraham, but the fact he’s got Chelsea legends talking about him so enthusiastically is a really good sign for the young man.
