Chelsea fans will be searching for any signs of positivity today as they get over a poor loss in the Champions League last night.
The Blues were very lacklustre after they lost 1-0 at home to Valencia, sparking a sea of frustrations from supporters.
Frank Lampard is missing a lot of key players through injury which is certainly not helping his continued stuttering season so far.
One of those injury prone players is Antonio Rudiger, who having only just returned from a separate injury, is now suffering with a groin problem after the Wolves match at the weekend.
Rudiger is very important to the team bringing his leadership and intensity, Lampard will be hoping this will be the end of his recent injury woes.
Chelsea reporter Simon Johnson has provided an update on the German international’s injury and thankfully he says it is not serious and that Rudiger might have a chance to play against Liverpool at the weekend.
Been told there is good news regarding scan on #Rudiger's groin injury and that the problem isn't serious. He may even have a chance to play for #cfc against #lfc on Sunday although too early to make that call. #Lampard will be wary of the risk of further injury regardless.
