Emerson Palmieri is in talks with Chelsea over a contract extension until 2024, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport Journalist Nicolo Schira.
The 25-year old already has three years remaining on his current deal, but The Blues are looking to extend that to five years, if the report is true.
The left back has been one of Chelsea’s best performing players so far this season and had a decent second half of last season after given a solid run of games at the club, and ousting Marcos Alonso in the process.
Schira believes that the deal will be worth 5 million euros a year plus bonuses, and that the talks are ongoing.

The Chelsea man is currently away on international duty with Italy and came up with a quality assist for his country in the week.
