Chelsea are now the second team in Premier League history to achieve this feat

We’re on match day five, and Chelsea are yet to find the back of the net without an English player over the age of 21 providing the finishing touch.

Chelsea have scarcely been further from youth integration into the first-team than we were under Maurizio Sarri. He evidently had zero interest in investing time into our younger players.

Frank Lampard was appointed head coach at the start of July and all those who have had to remain patient for the opportunities to come are finally reaping the rewards for their hard work.

Tammy Abraham, Mason Mount and Fikayo Tomori are three who have been heavily involved, and remarkably, they’re the only three players to score for us this season.

Obviously we should not be relying on our youngsters to deliver the goods, but while they are, we’re going to enjoy it. Especially when they’re closing in on breaking an impressive record!
