Chelsea’s Twitter account posted an epic gif on Wednesday afternoon to mark Reece James’ return to training from long-term injury.
James has been painted out to be Frank Lampard’s heaven sent solution to his leaky back line. While that may be true, to an extent, it may not be wise to put such a degree of pressure on his young shoulders.
Regardless, Chelsea have not hesitated to add to the hype surrounding the former academy player of the year’s impending return. Have a look at this gif that they shared on Twitter on Wednesday.

James is undoubtedly the long-term successor to Cesar Azpilicueta at right-back, but it would be unwise to assume that he is ready to step into the fray and provide a direct improvement at his age.
Lampard has shown willingness to give great responsibility to his younger players, however. Thus it would be no surprise to see James be given a considerable role in the months going forward.
