Real Madrid seemed to go from dominant triple European Champions to suffering club-in-a-hole almost on the very day that Thibaut Courtois joined them.
They’ve churned through a few managers even since then, just over a year ago, and have ended up back where they started with the man who didn’t want him in the first place – Zinedine Zidane.
Chelsea fans feel a strong affection towards Eden Hazard still, but that doesn’t mean they won’t take a little bit of pleasure when Real don’t do too well. We’re already used to celebrating when Courtois messes up, and while we want to see Eden succeed, we’d rather his best years were with us.

So Real Madrid’s long downward spiral, which looks set to continue tonight as they’re 2-0 down to PSG in Paris,
We won’t name and shame them, but it wasn’t hard to find Blues on Twitter enjoying the pain for Eden on his first Champions League start.
