Chelsea academy products enjoy loving Twitter exchange following Wolves win

Chelsea man of the moment Fikayo Tomori has enjoyed a loving exchange with fellow Blues academy product Reece James on Twitter.

Tomori and James came up Chelsea’s academy ranks together and both look set to play a considerable part in this campaign under the stewardship of club legend Frank Lampard.

James, to Chelsea fans’ dismay, has been forced to watch from the sidelines thus far this campaign, having picked up an ankle injury while playing in the Toulon tournament earlier in the summer.

He hasn’t been involved, but Tomori has, starting and scoring against Wolverhampton Wanderers yesterday. It looks as though Reece was pretty impressed with his goal, too…

Which was greatly appreciated by his good friend Tomori…

It’s great that these two have such a close bond heading into the senior squad, because if they continue on their current paths they’re going to be playing in the same defence for many years to come.
