How Chelsea can use the efforts of Maurizio Sarri and Carlo Ancelotti to beat Liverpool

Chelsea came off the pitch last night in low spirits after a defeat, but they must have been encouraged to hear that their opponents from this weekend, Liverpool, had also lost.

Frank Lampard even went as far as to mention it in his post match interview, so they must have heard as soon as they came off.

Playing Napoli away is a far harder task than Valencia at home, but still there can only be positive things taken from Liverpool slipping up as they did. We all already knew that Chelsea were vulnerable, and a work in progress this season, but Liverpool have looked invincible at times over the last 12 months.

It’s nice to have a reminder of their mortality just before they come to Stamford Bridge. Let’s not forget we almost beat them in the same game last year, only a late strike super strike from Daniel Sturridge stopping us from taking all 3 points.

Let’s channel that spirit, and the spirit of Napoli last night, and show the world again that Jurgen Klopp’s side can still be beaten.
