Callum Hudson-Odoi is close to signing a contract at Chelsea… wait we’ve heard that before haven’t we?
I guess you just have to wait a couple of weeks since the last report before you make your own effort, and get a fresh round of interest in the story. Eventually he will presumably sign, and if you were the last person to throw your hat in the ring, you can say that you had some inside knowledge all along.
It’s now The Sun‘s turn to lead the race to the bottom, and the tabloid says that CHO is “close to finally committing his future to Chelsea.”
Given the transfer window is closed, it makes sense. But why hasn’t he signed already? We’ve been hearing for pretty much months now that a deal is ready and agreed, what are they waiting on?
It’s now past the point of normality, and some fans are getting worried. If he’s staying, why hasn’t he signed? Reports like this will make people feel a little more confident, but until we see him with pen in hand, we will be paranoid.
