Cesar Azpilicueta, whose starting spot is now under great threat following the return of Reece James, appears to be relishing the challenge ahead.
Azpilicueta was formerly one of the first names on the team sheet, but in wake of recent performances you have to assume that Frank Lampard will be desperate for James to get up to speed.
What he lacks in experience he makes up for in raw quality, and at least we would be investing in his future, rather than having to watch a legend in Azpi slowly deteriorate on the field.
